Her 1st job was in social work and she had began her self NGO before connecting with the media. She has been active as a journalist since 2003. In 2003, She connected with “Doordarshan” and started working in the program Aankho Dekhi. After that in the same year she connected with Zee News and began working there for a desk job; where she worked for about Five years.
Then she connected with News 24 in 2007 and acted a very famous debate show “Do Tuk”. Then she moved to Star News and worked as an Anchor. Anjana connected Aaj Tak in 2012 as deputy Editor and now she is working as a top Television anchor and News presenter. She has been honored with many reputable awards in her life and in 2014 she won ITA(Indian TV Academy) Award for the best anchor for News/Current affairs show.
