Eligibility Criteria

• ITI Candidates: One must have passed the Matriculation exam with at least 50% score, and must hold an ITI Trade certificate from an institution recognized by the SCVT/NCVT with 50% score.
• Non-ITI Candidates: The person must have passed the Class 10 Exam from an accredited school with at least a 50% overall score and 40% in each of the subjects of science and math.

Age Limit:

• ITI Candidates: The candidate’s age shouldn’t be below 14 and above 18 years as of November 21, 2025. The upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC, and 5 years for SC/ST.
• Non-ITI Candidates: Same as above.

Application Fee

Male members of the Unreserved and Other Backwards Classes who wish to apply for the Apprentice position at the Ordnance Factory Board must pay the application fee of ₹200 by the deadline using a debit card, credit card, NETT banking, UPI, or any other available payment gateway.

YIL Apprentice Stipend 2025

ITI Trade Certificate holders will receive a monthly payout of ₹7,000, while non-ITI persons hired as apprentices under the Ordnance Factory Board will receive a monthly stipend of ₹6,000.
