About West Bengal State Eligibility Test

The West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WBSET) 2024 is scheduled to take place on January 8, 2024, at a number of locations across the state that serve as testing centers. The West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WBSET) 2024 will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. All applicants will be required to take Paper 1, a general test. The West Bengal SET Recruitment 2024 was officially announced on August 16, 2022, by the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC). In accordance with the announcement, various West Bengali colleges and universities have advertised for Assistant Professor positions. Aspirants in the General category paid INR 1,200 for their registration, while those in the Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) category paid INR 600. The registration fee/charge was INR 300 for candidates from other categories like Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD), and Transgender.
