About TSPSC CDPO Syllabus

The TSPSC Mughal administrative customs and practices were followed by the early Asaf Jahi rulers of Hyderabad State, who appointed public servants through nomination and representation. The modern Hyderabad Civil Service was established by Sir Salar Jung I, the Diwan (Prime Minister). In his extraordinary Jareeda in 1882, Salar Jung emphasized the importance of educating and training young Hyderabadis for Nizam’s Service recruitment. He proposed a number of administrative reforms and proposed building an effective administrative system on the British India model.

By establishing a distinct civil service class, he simplified public institutions and tore down the outdated and archaic administrative structure. The formation of the Hyderabad Civil Service was made easier by Salar Jung’s revenue, police, and judicial reforms, as well as the Zilabandi system, Subedari, and Taluqdari systems. After that, the Cabinet Council, the Executive Council, and the Qanuncha Mubarik proclamation of 1892 established guidelines for the services and institutionalized the Hyderabad Civil Services.
