The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board will be declared the result for Paper 1, 2 of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2021. Candidates who appeared for the exam can log on to the official website trb.tn.nic.in to check their score for Paper 1st & 2nd. TNTET result PDF will be made available for download on the official website of Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) Tamil Nadu. During the release of TNTET 2021 result, TRB also releases marks obtained by the candidates along with answer key. About Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board

Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) was set up in the year 1987 with an aim to select good eligible teachers. TRB conducts a fair, free and transparent recruitment process through optical mark reader (OMR) technique. During the period of 2015-2016, TRB has recruited eligible candidates on 117 posts out of 272 posts. Till now, the board has been successful in recruiting 1,56,839 school and college teachers. TRB also conducts the examination of Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET). The details about the recruitment process of TNTET is updated on the official website, trb.tn.nic.in.

If Candidates qualifying TNTET 2021 by scoring the marks above the prescribed cutoff by TRB, Tamil Nadu will be issued a certificate (Scorecard) of Eligibility. Candidates can check score card for Paper 1, 2 of Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test on official site trb.tn.nic.in. The result is released in the form of a PDF having candidates’ roll numbers and marks.

TNTET Cutoff Marks 2021

Candidates appearing for TNTET 2021 must score 60% or above in the respective paper to qualify the exam. However, candidates from BC, BC (M), MBC/DNC, SC, SC(A), ST and Person with Disability are entitled to get 5% relaxation in marks. Find the table below for details:

TNTET Result 2021 Scorecard Eligibility

Those candidates who secure qualifying marks are awarded with TET certificate. This certificate declares that the candidate has qualified the exam and is eligible for recruitment as teacher in schools of Tamil Nadu.  Also, this certificate does not ensure the appointment of any candidate.

The validity of this certificate is 7 years. Candidates if lose or damage this certificate then they can apply for the duplicate by paying fees.

For Paper II: Eligible person who secures 60% or more in the TET Paper II examination will be considered to have passed TET Paper II. This will be the qualifying marks for the candidates of all the categories. However, relaxation of 5% marks has been provided by the government for BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC, SC, SC(A), ST and PWD candidates. TET qualification is one of the eligibility conditions for appointment.

TNTET Answer Keys Objections/ Challenge form

  • The representations may be sent through post or may be dropped in the Box provided at Teachers Recruitment Board’s Information Centre.
  • Any objections and materials produced beyond the stipulated time will not be entertained.
  • On consideration of such objections, final answers would be published by TRB and the same will be the final answer key.
  • No independent orders either accepting or rejecting the objections of the candidates will be passed. Only a final answer key will be published.
  • Acceptable Supporting Material: Only standard books/text books can be provided as evidence. Guides, correspondence course materials and non-standard books are not permissible.
  • Constitution of experts to consider the objections cannot be questioned by the candidates.
