About Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission

Admission will be conducted in online mode for General, Academic and Vocational categories as per the rank list released. Aspirants can check their TNEA Rank List on the official website-tneaonline.org by using their login credentials. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2025 Supplementary Counselling will be commenced from October 15 to October 16, 2025. Around fifty four sports are defined under the sports quota. Aspirants who have played the State/National/International level games can get admissions quickly under the sports quota. Applicant will be divided into 6 categories and each category will have different marks. Those who have played International sports have the upper hand as more marks are given to the aspirants.

Eligibility Criteria Of TNPCEE 2025

Before submitting an admission for the TNEA 2025 registration, every applicant must go through the TNEA eligibility criteria 2025. Only those applicant who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria of TNEA 2025 will be eligible for TNEA counselling.

Details

General Eligibility

  • Applicant who have completed classes 8, 9, 10 11 and 12 from Tamil Nadu need not to submit any nativity proof.

  • Aspirant who have completed classes 8, 9, 10 11 and 12 from states other than Tamil Nadu need to submit a nativity certificate.

  • Children or wards of Central Government Employees serving continually in Tamil Nadu for the last five years are required to submit parents’ certificates of employment.

  • Proof of parents’ employment must be submitted by aspirant if their parents are employed under All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers.

  • Identification certificate from headquarters must be submitted by any Srilankan Tamil Refugee candidate.

Age Limit

  • There is no age limit. However, marine engineering candidates must not be older than 25 years.

Qualification Eligibility

  • Candidates must have completed class 12/HSC from any recognized board.

  • The obligatory subjects for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2025 are Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

  • The applicants at least have scored 45 percent (General), 40%percent(Backward class including backward class Muslims, MBC & DNC, and SC/SCA/ST).

  • Marine engineering candidates must have cleared class 12 with at least 60percent marks in PCM and 50percent in English.

Counselling schedule will be published by Anna University on their official website. Given below are notification regarding TNPCEE Counselling Process:

Counselling will take place on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Rank cards.
The applicants are divided into time-slots according to their state rank and are required to report at the counselling venue at their allotted slot.
There will be no 2nd round of counselling.
Applicants ensure to carry all the important documents.

TNPCEE Admission Form will be published on the website of Anna University. The aspirants must fill the form carefully by following the below-given instructions:
