Suzuki GS150R Design and Style
The Suzuki GS150R receives minor cosmetic changes while maintaining its original design and style. It now has a redesigned cowl and visor with new graphics. The cowl contributes to the aggressive appearance of this bike’s headlight. It has air intakes on both sides of its headlight, giving it an aerodynamic appearance. The cowl now has noticeable cuts and lines that improve the overall appearance of the bike. It has a wide headlight with twin pilot lamps that can easily catch your attention, as can its tinted visor, which is unique. The partially black front fender has also been updated, and it now looks edgy with its stylish five-spoke alloy wheels. Its side panels, engine, alloy wheels, and muffler are all finished in black.
The upswept silencer and chrome heat shield on the Suzuki GS150R look extremely sporty. It has an elevated fuel tank, new graphics, and a classy appearance with a stepped up seat and a tall positioned rear cowl. Its rear cowl incorporates clear lens indicators and an LED tail light. It has a twin-layered tail light that sparkles, as well as a silver-finished compact grab rail. Its sharp rear fender conceals the rear tyre and houses a number plate and a reflector light.
Suzuki GS150R Instrument Console
The Suzuki GS150R has a combined analogue digital metre console. It has a circular dial for its analogue tachometer that is surrounded by a silver ring. It also has a digital gear shift indicator. The digital speedometer, trip metre, odometer, and fuel gauge are all displayed on a large orange LCD screen. This speedometer has a dual mode. Other important indicators are placed around the LCD.

Suzuki GS150R Comfort while Driving
Its foot pegs are in the middle, which does not lend itself to a sporty riding posture. It is more convenient for commuters because the handle bar is raised slightly. The Suzuki GS150R’s seating is very comfortable, and it is enhanced by a perfect knee grip around the fuel tank. The handle bar has a vibration-free firm palm grip and high-quality plastic buttons, as well as an engine kill switch.
Suzuki GS150R Suspension and Brakes
The GS150R’s front telescopic forks are oil damped, and it has oil and gas damped shock absorbers with swing arm type coil springs at the rear. It has a standard front disc brake of 240mm and a rear drum brake of 130mm.
Suzuki GS150R Engine and Gearbox
In this department, nothing has changed. The Suzuki GS150R is still powered by a 150cc 4-stroke engine. At 8500 rpm, this SOHC engine produces a maximum power of 13.8 Bhp. This air-cooled engine’s maximum torque output is 13.4 Nm, which is available at 6000 rpm. The GS150R was India’s first 150cc motorcycle with a six-speed manual transmission. Suzuki GS150R Acceleration and Performance
You’ll have to rev this bike hard to get the most out of it, and it clears from the first move. The six-speed transmission allows you to keep moving quickly and efficiently. In comparison to its competitors, this bike’s torque and power arrive later, but Suzuki did so on purpose. Because there isn’t much power and torque to play with, Suzuki kept the gear ratios short to ensure that it never runs out of power. The throttle response only gets better as you go. Despite its low power-to-weight ratio, it accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in less than 6 seconds.
This engine is extremely refined, with no signs of vibration up to 6000rpm. Because of the additional sixth gear, the bike can reach speeds of up to 120km/h. On highways, this bike is very easy to overtake, but it may irritate you in city traffic. It takes some time to get used to this bike because you will need to learn how to shift into the appropriate gear to move it as needed.
Suzuki GS150R Mileage
In city conditions, the frequent gear shifts and heavy weight result in a fuel economy of around 50km/ltr. On highways, these figures may rise by 3-5 km/ltr.
Suzuki GS150R Ride and Handling
The Suzuki GS150R is a heavy bike, which shows in its handling, especially in city traffic. The bike is not particularly quick or agile, and steering it takes time. However, its high speed stability is impressive due to its 1335mm wheelbase. It has a ground clearance of 160mm, which is suitable for our Indian conditions and allows it to easily cross most obstacles. The gas-filled rear suspension provides a comfortable ride with very few bumps that bother you. Because it lacks stability when turning, you may not feel confident around sharp corners. Suzuki should have provided a wider rear tyre, as the bike still lacks firm road grip. However, thanks to its heavyweight and effective suspension system, it appears to settle well on highways.

Reviews
Yes, at INR 71,009 (ex-showroom, Delhi), this bike is less expensive than most of its competitors, but it is still not a complete value for money bike. First and foremost, it lacks market credibility, which means you will have to accept its low resale value and high maintenance. Second, aside from a sixth gear, there is nothing special about this bike that distinguishes it from competitors. We don’t think Suzuki will be able to beat established players like Hero X-treme and Bajaj Pulsar in our Indian market with these minor cosmetic changes.

Suzuki GS150R KO DHOBARA LAUNCH KARO INDIA ME PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I own a GS150R since 2011 and I have to say that it is the best motorcycle I have ever driven. Smooth comfortable I have driven to places which are 300 to 400 km away in just 5-6 hours without feeling any strain. I have not had to spend much for repairs and only changed the sprocket battery and tyres in all these years.
My only grievance is the non availability of spares. I had to search high and low for the clutch lever which broke when the vehicle was pushed down by a Buffalo and finally found a new lever in Tiruvanthapuram in Kerala as the dealer in Andhra was unable to get on. I have been trying to get a speedometer assembly since the month of March and after six months nothing has been found by Saripudi the dealer in Ongole. I may have to go to Kerala or somewhere else, maybe.
