Shirley Setia is a famous Indian-origin Kiwi (New Zealand) singer and actress who is famous for her YouTube singing videos. She was birthed on 2 July 1995 in Daman, India. When she was just Seven years old, her family moved to Auckland, New Zealand. She finished her primary education in Auckland itself. Setia then obtained a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Auckland. She also finished a course in Marketing and Publicity Intern from Auckland Council.
She also serviced as a part-time radio jockey during her college days. Setia was attentive in Bollywood songs from the very starting. Shirley then entered in a competition managed by T-Series and recorded a video of herself wearing her pajamas at 1 pm from her bedroom. She was the winner of this event and was given the nickname ‘Pyjama Popstar’ by the New Zealand Herald. She met Bollywood singer Shreya Ghosal during an ceremony in 2012. Shreya guided him to put videos on YouTube.
On her guideness, Shirley put videos of a cover song on YouTube at the age of Sixteen. In those days, the song Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2 was quite famous, which Shirley sang in her self way and uploaded its cover videos on YouTube.
