Qala Movie Release Date 2022 – Prime OTT platform, OTT colossus Netflix recently announced the projects from Hindi movie industry that will have a direct digital premiere this year. The film list includes Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Monica O My Darling, Plan A Plan B, Khufiya, Chakda Xpress, and a Qala. Late actor Irfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is making his acting debut with Qala and the 1st look at the project is out. The short teaser features the gorgeous Tripti Dimri in the spotlight, essaying the character of a singer. The 1 minute long teaser comes to an end with Tripti wrapping up the scene and Babil making a flutter and a miss appearance.

This thriller movie has a very talented Starcast and will mark the acting debut of Babil Khan, who is the son of very legendary actor Irfan Khan, who was discover with neuroendocrine tumor and unfortunately, passed away on 29 April 2020 at the age of fifty three in Mumbai.
Young and brilliant actress Tripti Dimri will feature opposite Babil Khan. She made her acting debut with actor Shreyas Talpade’s debut directorial 2017 comedy thriller movie “Poster Boys”.
The movie will mark Dimi’s 2nd partnership with Netflix, director Anvita Dutta and production house Clean Slate Films together after 2020 critically acclaimed supernatural thriller film “Bulbul”.
The movie was released on Netflix in June 2020 and was financed by actress Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma’s Clean Slate Films.
Qala movie will also feature Swastika Mukherjee in the main character. Swastika predominantly works in Bengali movies and made her Bollywood debut with 2008 anthology movie “Mumbai Cutting”.
She also appeared in Bollywood remake of American romantic movie “The Fault in Our Stars” titled “Dil Bechara”, starring Sanjana Sanghi and late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput in main character.

Film Story
In Qala movie a young playback singer with the same name is the lead character. The story takes place in the late 1930s and early 1940s. It’s about how her very sad past catches up with her just as she’s getting to the top of her hard-won success and makes her fall apart.
