About Subhadra Yojana
Under this scheme, eligible women will be provided financial assistance of Rs 50,000 over five years starting from the financial year 2025-25. This assistance will be given in two installments of Rs 10,000 every year, which will be deposited directly into the bank accounts linked to the Aadhaar of women. Under Subhadra Yojana benefits, this amount will be transferred through Direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme, so that financial assistance for women can be easily obtained.
Assistance Amount be Available Twice A Year
Women will get assistance of Rs 5,000 in two installments every year. The first installment will be transferred on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima (Raksha Bandhan) and the second installment will be transferred on the day of International Women’s Day. This scheme is designed with the aim of making women self-reliant by providing them timely assistance. Subhadra Yojana The assistance amount of Rs 50,000 will be sent directly to the accounts of women through Subhadra Yojana bank transfer.

Subhadra Yojana Eligibility and Registration Process
Under Subhadra Yojana eligibility, women between the ages of 21 and 60, who come from economically weaker sections, can avail the benefits of this scheme. However, women coming from affluent backgrounds such as government employees and income tax payers will not be eligible for this scheme. Subhadra Yojana non-eligible criteria also includes women who are already receiving financial assistance under any other government scheme.
The Subhadra Yojana registration process has started from 1 September 2025 and will continue till all eligible women are enrolled. For registration, online registration can be done by visiting the Subhadra Yojana official website. In this process, women are required to complete the Subhadra Yojana e-KYC process, so that the amount can be transferred to their bank accounts without any hindrance.

Subhadra Debit Card & Digital Transactions
Under this scheme, women will also be provided with Subhadra debit card, so that they can transact without any interruption. Along with this, the government is also running the Women Digital Transactions Reward Scheme to promote digital transactions, under which women who do the most digital transactions will get an additional incentive of Rs 500. Thus, women’s empowerment through Subhadra Yojana is also being encouraged through digital means.
Who will not Get Benefit Under the Scheme?
Women whose income is more than Rs 18,000 per year will not be eligible for this scheme. Along with this, women who are already receiving financial assistance of Rs 1,500 per month or more under any other government scheme will also not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. According to Subhadra Yojana non-eligible criteria, women coming from affluent families also cannot register under this scheme.
