PGCIL Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility conditions for recruiting Diploma Trainees under the PGCIL are listed below, including educational qualifications and age limits.

Educational Qualification:

• DTE (Electrical): Full-time regular three-years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS; pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
• DTC (Civil): Full-time regular three-years Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS; pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
• JOT (HR): three-years full-time Graduate Degree (BBA/BBM/BBS) with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL).
• JOT (F&A): Inter CA/CMA
• Tr. (F&A): B.Com. with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS; pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.

Age Limit:

• The candidate’s age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 21 years as of November 12, 2024.
• The upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC-NCL and 5 years for SC and ST.
