Selection Process
The selection process for Sepoy (Constable) in the Special Security Battalion, OSAP, India Reserve, and Special India Reserve Battalion is listed below.

- PST & PET
- Driving Test
- Medical Examination
After applying, candidates will be called for a computer-based recruitment exam, followed by a physical standard and measurement test, an optional driving test, and finally a medical examination, which will be followed by document verification.
The CBRE will be worth 100 points, PST and PET will be worth qualifying, the optional driving test will be worth 5 points for heavy vehicles and just 3 points for light vehicles, and the medical examination will also be worth qualifying.
The final selection will be made using 100 points from the written exam, 5 points from the optional driving test, and 2 points for NCC. Candidates who have an NCC certificate will receive an additional 2 points. The person who meets or surpasses the cutoff score of 107 will be selected.

OSAP IRB Pay Scale 2025
Following the selection process, candidates who are appointed as Sepoys (Constables) in the OSAP, IR, SIR, and Special Security battalions will receive a monthly salary ranging from 21,700 to 69,100 rupees, in addition to other benefits like Dearness Allowance and Uniform Allowance.
