Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 38 on January 1, 2024, which means they cannot have been born before January 2, 1986, or after January 1, 2003. Age relaxation is applicable in the following ways:

Selection Process
There are two steps in the selection process for the position of Assistant Agriculture Officer:
- Written Examination: There are two objective-style papers in all, and each one is worth 100 points. There will be one mark for each of the 100 questions on each paper. For every wrong response, there isa 0.25 mark deduction. Each paper will take two hours to complete.
- Interview: Those who made the short list for the written exam will be invited to a 25-point interview.
