OPPO F25 Pro Review: The OPPO F25 Pro, introduce in 2025, has garnered attention as a budget-friendly smartphone offering from the brand. Despite its cost-effectiveness, the phone manages to meet various criteria that resonate well with younger consumers. Notably, it boasts a slim and lightweight design while housing a robust 5,000mAh battery capable of providing extended usage without the need for frequent recharges. Additionally, the device features a remarkable 32-megapixel front camera that supports 4K video recording, catering to individuals who are active on social media platforms like Snapchat and BeReal where high-quality visuals are paramount.
In addition to its impressive specifications, the OPPO F25 Pro comes equipped with an advanced processor that ensures smooth performance for multitasking and running demanding applications. The phone’s expansive display offers vibrant colors and sharp details, enhancing the overall viewing experience for gaming, streaming content, or browsing the web. Furthermore, its user-friendly interface and intuitive features make it an ideal choice for users looking for a seamless smartphone experience without compromising on functionality or style.
OPPO F25 Pro Review 2025
Overall, the OPPO F25 Pro presents a compelling option for tech-savvy individuals seeking a reliable smartphone that combines affordability with cutting-edge features tailored to their lifestyle needs. Nevertheless, there are still some ongoing issues. For example, one of these issues is that the brands restrict the availability of stereo speakers to higher-end devices, a feature that should ideally be accessible across all price ranges. Additionally, the absence of NFC limits the enhancement of the digital payment process.
The OPPO F25 Pro is a dependable smartphone for those who value design, camera quality, and battery performance. It features a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with vibrant colors. The absence of stereo speakers slightly affects the media experience. While it comes with Android 14-based ColorOS, the pre-installed apps can make the interface feel crowded. Overall, the OPPO F25 Pro is a good option given its price point.

Design And Display
Let’s start by examining the overall design before delving into the appearance, a credit to OPPO. Despite housing a sizable battery, the OPPO F25 Pro impressively maintains a slim 7.5mm profile and a weight of 177 grams. The phone is well-balanced, with ergonomically friendly placement of physical buttons (volume and power) that suits my grip. The camera module protrudes minimally, allowing the phone to sit nearly flat on surfaces. Although predominantly plastic, the build quality feels far from subpar. Additionally, the phone boasts IP65 certification for dust and water resistance, surpassing the common IP54 rating of its segment, ensuring protection against water splashes even in rainy conditions.
The OPPO F25 Pro’s look may divide opinions, despite its robust build. Although I like the Lava red hue and glossy details on the rear, I’m not fond of the large circular openings for the triple rear cameras. The rectangular border around the camera openings also tends to gather many fingerprint smudges, necessitating regular cleaning.
The front side of the OPPO F25 Pro is quite similar to last year’s F23 model, but this doesn’t mean that the viewing experience is lacking. The OPPO F25 Pro comes with a tall 6.7-inch display offering Full-HD+ resolution (2,412 x 1,080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has minimal bezels, enhancing the video-watching and reading experience. The screen visibility remains good even in bright daylight conditions, ensuring readability is not compromised.
The Netflix application does not have HDR support, but the AMOLED display ensures vibrant color and contrast. I evaluated the performance by viewing a biopic about Indian Air Force officer Gunjan Saxena on the app, and the low-light scenes looked well-balanced. Depending on the subscription tier you choose, you can expect sharper image quality. However, the viewing experience could have been enhanced if OPPO had included stereo speakers in the F25 Pro. Furthermore, the lack of a headphone jack means Bluetooth-enabled earbuds are necessary.

Cameras
The F25 Pro maintains three rear cameras, similar to the OPPO F23. The main camera boasts a 64MP sensor without OIS. The ultra-wide camera now features an improved 8MP sensor, along with a 2MP macro camera. The Oppo F25 Pro tends to favor warm tones and strong shadows in its final images, giving them a dramatic look, especially in well-lit environments. While some users may prefer a more balanced look, these images from the OPPO F25 Pro are optimized for social media without the need for additional editing.
The portrait mode depends on the main camera and certain software adjustments. Pictures showed good depth, with accurate skin tone detection in my trials. When compared to the OnePlus Nord CE4. The OPPO F25 Pro opted for a more vibrant style. But both images possess unique characteristics that cater to personal tastes. In very dim lighting, the main camera shows a gentle dynamic range, occasionally hiding details. The white balance might be somewhat irregular. Nonetheless, the pictures in low-light situations look satisfactory, if not exceptional.
The enhanced ultra-wide camera retains a similar color profile to the main camera. But may not capture details effectively in various lighting conditions. The macro camera impresses with its subject detection capabilities at a distance of around 4cm. Yet the final results lack the vibrant colors and sharpness one would anticipate. Video recording options include 4K30fps and 1080p60fps support. Considering the price point, there are no major concerns regarding color accuracy and details.
However, many videos exhibit noticeable stuttering in fast-paced scenes, possibly due to the absence of optical image stabilization (OIS), a problem that could potentially be resolved through an over-the-air (OTA) update. The 32MP front camera on the OPPO F25 Pro offers the same recording support, which is remarkable given its price point. Colors are well-balanced in both regular and portrait mode shots, with natural skin tone detection. Portrait shots feature a lush bokeh effect and precise edge detection.
Performance And Software
The OPPO F25 Pro features the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC manufactured using the TSMC N6 (6nm-class) chip production process. The model under review includes 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB RAM, priced at Rs 23,999. For an extra Rs 2,000, customers can opt for the version with 256GB storage. This positions the OPPO F25 Pro in direct competition with well-known competitors such as Nothing Phone 2(a) and Redmi Note 13 Pro.
In benchmark comparisons, the OPPO F25 Pro shows decent performance but lags behind certain competitors like the Phone 2(a) powered by Dimensity 7200 Pro. It notably demonstrated improved stability in peak performance during the CPU Throttle test.
The OPPO F25 Pro is a dependable performer in the real world, coming with Android 14 pre-installed and a promise of three years of major Android updates. This is impressive for a smartphone priced below Rs 25,000.
Improvements could be made in the software experience by refining app-switching and closing animations, which currently seem flat. The UI appears cluttered due to the numerous pre-installed apps; however, some ColorOS 14 features like AI-powered smart touch (for copying text from photos and videos) and auto pixelate (for privacy) are particularly useful in my opinion.
I assessed the gaming capabilities by trying out BGMI and COD (Call of Duty). The screen’s flat design prevented mistouches, but occasional stutters were observed, possibly due to optimization concerns. Fortunately, the OPPO F25 Pro did not experience notable heating or battery drainage problems while running these two relatively demanding games.

Battery
The OPPO F25 Pro is equipped with a larger 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W charging. Which is provide in the packaging. The charger’s design is similar to the classic OnePlus charger. When use with the phone it reach full battery capacity in approximately 45 minutes.
The battery backup of the OPPO F25 Pro prove to be strong during both my review and PC Mark’s battery test. In the latter test. The phone lasted for more than 19 hours in flight mode with 50 percent battery. Under regular usage involving light gaming, camera use, and a high refresh rate. You can anticipate a full day’s battery life.
Conclusion
The OPPO F25 Pro is a good option for those seeking a stylish smartphone with dependable performance, quality cameras. A strong battery and quick charging. Although the design may not suit everyone’s taste. It might be appealing to you. OPPO’s focus on refining the software experience in its budget-friendly smartphones is crucial for enhancing user satisfaction. For those who prioritize a clean and streamlined software interface. The Nothing Phone 2(a) could be an excellent choice within the budget segment. Gaming enthusiasts on the other hand might find. The Redmi Note 13 Pro or POCO X6 Pro more appealing due to their performance capabilities.
Moreover, for individuals who prioritize camera quality, especially for capturing selfies. The OPPO F25 Pro stands out with its impressive 32MP front shooter. The emphasis on providing diverse options catering to different consumer preferences showcases OPPO’s commitment to meeting the varying needs of smartphone users across different segments. By offering a range of features tailored to specific interests such as software experience, gaming performance, and camera quality. OPPO aims to provide a comprehensive smartphone experience that resonates with a wide audience.
