Colors TV recently announced a new serial named Nima Denzongpa which will be produced under the banner Peninsula Pictures.
The story of Nima Denzongpa programe revolves around a girl (Nima) from India’s northeast part i.e. Sikkim who gets shifted to Mumbai with her love.
In Mumbai, she will face discrimination, troll, and spar as she hails from North East India. Nima will conquer all these challenges and ans them that she is also an Indian.
The women lead role of Nima Denzongpa will be played by Surabhi Das.
The role of Nima’s hubby will be played by Akshay Kelkar. He was last seen in SAB TV’s comedy show Bhakarwadi.

Story
Nima Denzongpa is a Sikkimese girl who is youthful, kind, & pure . Suresh Kumar, a young man from Mumbai, arrives to Sikkim to film with his management & Nima and Suresh fall in love build a strong friendship over the course of two months. Suresh begs Nima to accompany him to Mumbai and marry him the day before they leave. Nima is torn between love & family, & she doesn’t know which to pick.
Her mother, on the other hand, discovers the truth and consoles her, asking her to do what she believes is right. Nima makes a decision and joins Suresh in Mumbai. Suresh requests Nima to remain at their friend’s house for the time being when they arrive, and she is subjected to a barrage of insults from Suresh friend’s wife. Suresh’s friend, on the other hand, gradually develops feelings for Nima.
