New District in Rajasthan 2024- In Rajasthan, the creation of three new divisions and 19 new districts has been announced by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. - Jaipur Division: In addition to districts Jaipur, Dausa, and Alwar, the new district Bhiwadi will be part of the Jaipur division.
- Sikar Division: the new district Neem Ka Thana, district Sikar from Jaipur Division, district Churu from Jhunjhunu and Bikaner Division, and district Sikar from Jaipur Division can all be combined to form Sikar Division.
- Bikaner Division: The districts of Bikaner, Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh will not change in the Bikaner Division; however, a new district called Sujangarh might be added.
- District Jodhpur and Pali will remain unchanged in the Jodhpur division. Nagaur district from the Ajmer division will be included in Jodhpur, and Phalodi district, a new district, will be included in Jodhpur division due to similarities in location.
- Barmer Division: The new Barmer division will be created by combining the districts of Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Jalore from the Jodhpur division with the newly created district of Balotra.
- Ajmer Division: The districts of Ajmer and Tonk, as well as the new districts of Beawar and Kuchaman City, will all be part of the Ajmer Division.
- The Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, and Banswara districts of the Udaipur division, as well as Bhilwara in the Ajmer division, could serve as the new headquarters of the Chittorgarh division.
- Udaipur Division: The districts of Udaipur, Dungarpur, and Rajsamand will remain in the Udaipur division. Sirohi district, which is in the Jodhpur division, may be included in the Udaipur division due to its location and distance.
- The Kota Division will continue to be the same. It will continue to include the districts of Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar, and Baran. However, the establishment of the third state police commissionerate in Kota division is under consideration. Development authority will also be available to divisional headquarters.
- Bharatpur Division: It is thought that the Bharatpur division includes the districts of Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, Sawai Madhopur, and Karauli.
