• 12th pass with minimum 50% marks and appearing or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
• Or
• 12th pass with minimum 45% marks and appearing or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per NCTE rules
• Or
• 12th pass with minimum 50% marks and appearing or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• Or
• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2nd year D.El.Ed

For Paper-2 (Upper Primary Level)

• Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

• Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed examination.

NOTE: If paid through the itemized catalog, the application fee is nominal at the rate of Rs.500/- per application. However, MBSE provides an opportunity to apply for the examination through payment of a late fee (Rs.300/-).
