The Kia Sonet and Seltos have been updated for 2024, with prices starting at Rs. 10.49 – 18.65 Lakh respectively (ex-showroom, India).

The updates bring with them changes to the equipment list, which includes an all-new diesel-IMT engine-gearbox combination on the Seltos a first in India with more protection kit on the lower variants. Meanwhile, curtain airbags have been added to the HTX+ and GTX(O) trims that were previously only available on the GTX+ and X-line models.

Kia has also added paddle shifters, drive modes, and traction models to all automatic variants. The company officially started accepting bookings for the Seltos on July 16, though many dealers had started accepting bookings unofficially much earlier. At the launch event, the company announced that it had collected over 35,000 bookings for the Seltos SUV, of which one-fifth was done online through Kia’s website.
