KCET Result 2024: The results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test will announce. Around 1.95 lakh students had appeared in the exams, which were held on 2024 — amid the COVID-19 pandemic, maintaining social distance. This is the first time that the results are being published in such a short span of time.

Karnataka Examination Authority is all set to declare the KCET Results. All the students who had appeared for the KCET exam can check the result on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. KEA will release the KCET Results 2024. - Karnataka CET is the state level entrance exam for admissions to 204 engineering and pharmacy colleges in the state of Karnataka.
- KCET was held as a pen and paper based exam on June in 497 centres throughout the state with COVID guidelines in place and social distancing maintained as specified.
- As per KEA released KCET Results statistics, a total of 1,75,428 candidates (90.23 per cent) appeared for Physics, 1,75,337 (90.10 per cent) wrote the chemistry paper, 79.90 per cent for Biology and 91.92 per cent for Maths respectively.

How to check kea.kar.nic.in Result 2024 Online?
- Visit KCET Official Website then navigate to the Result section.
- Then Enter Registration Number and the mentioned Captcha
- Now Click on “Submit” button.
- Please Download the result displayed online and retain a hard copy of the same required for further correspondence.
KCET Answer Key 2024
The exam was conducted from July to August 1 this year after multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. KCET Result examination is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate professional courses offered by colleges in Karnataka. Earlier the KCET Provisional answer keys and candidates asked to submit objections for this year. After which final KCET Results answer key will be published based on objections received and result will be declared.
The passing score for KCET Result will be 50% for general category students and 40% for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates. The passing score is the cutoff for eligibility to take the exam and get admission to partner colleges. To be eligible for counseling, general category students need a minimum of 50% in their qualifying test, while SC, ST, and OBC aspirants need at least 40%. Separate cutoff lists will be created for Hyderabad and Karnataka candidates. The KEA website will soon have the qualifying scores for KCET 2024.
KCET Scorecard 2024
Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct Karnataka CET Counselling 2024 soon, in online or offline format. Check details and updates before applying. KCET Counselling 2024 starts in 2024. Eligible candidates will appear for final admission, with college and course allotment based on KCET Results Rank Card.
KCET Ranking will be based on 12th marks and performance in the KCET Exam. The KCET scorecard will be valid for 1 year only. KCET candidates can check the results online on KEA Official site. KCET result is also the score /rank card that mentions the subject wise and total scores obtained by the candidates in KCET along with the state rank obtained by them.
How is KCET 2024 Merit/ Rank Calculated?
- The final answer key of KCET is used during evaluation to calculate the merit order in and prepare list of KCET Results.
- Ranks will be given to candidates as per their merit list declared by KEA.
- Separate result sheets reflecting the engineering ranks will be published as per the date announced for it.

Candidates will require the login credentials received at the time of registration for KCET to access the results.
Can a candidate apply for revaluation or re-totalling of the marks?
No. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will not entertain any request for revaluation or re-totalling of the marks obtained in the entrance exam. However, a candidate can raise a request for a change in the qualifying marks. They must submit objections within three days of result declaration.
