Karnataka TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5)

Candidates must have PUC/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Applicants must have PUC/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks or appearing in final year or fourth year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

or

Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

or

Candidates must be a graduate with at least 50% marks and pass or appear in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

For Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

 Candidates must have completed Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Candidates must be a graduate with at least 50% marks and pass in the final year of 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Education.

or

Applicants should have completed PUC/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
