Welcome to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, was established as the nation’s first technological university on October 2, 1972, by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh. It has been at the forefront of providing relevant, high-quality technological education in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the past 44 years. It was reorganized by the government in accordance with Government Ordinance No. 13, dated August 18, 2008, and Act of State Legislature No. 30, dated September 2008, after 36 years of existence. This new university has been named Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH).
In Kukatpally, Hyderabad, JNTUH is situated on a sprawling 89-acre campus. There are currently four constituent engineering colleges: one in Hyderabad, one in Kondagattu (Jagithyal), one in Manthani, and one in Sultanpur (Medak district). and 15 additional constituent units on the campus of Hyderabad. JNTUH provides a B.Tech. programs in 24 fields and an undergraduate B.Pharm degree; Integrated dual-degree Master’s program for five years; M.Tech. M.Pharm. programs in 68 different fields in eleven fields; M.Sc. in ten areas of study; Programs for MCA, MBA, and Double Degrees at the P.G. level; in addition to the M.S. and M.Phil. offers, Ph.D. programs in management, engineering, technology, science, and the humanities, among other fields. There are 423 JNTUH-affiliated colleges located throughout the state of Telangana. More than 3.50 lakh students are enrolled at JNTUH.
