In Kolkata, she joined Shri Shikshayatan College and Mahadevi Birla World Academy. Jaya finished her B.Com through open schooling. Kishori was sermonized under the tutelage of Swami Ramsukhdas and Pandit Vinod Kumar Ji Sahal. Jaya was originally preached by Pt. Govindram Mishra.

Career

At the age of 7, she sang at the Satsang, managed in the Basant Mahotsav in Kolkata. When Kishori Ji was at the age of 10, she sang a Bhajan ‘Sundara Kanda.’
