Short Speech on Independence Day 2024

My greetings to all of you, my name is Amaal Malik. I’m very grateful to my class teacher who gave me the opportunity to speak on this day.

By mistake, if I make mistakes, please give me pardon.

Today, it has been seventy-five years since India got independence, so we are celebrating 75th Independence Day today. Before independence, the citizens of our country were subjected to so many atrocities which we cannot even imagine. If we are free today, it’s only because of our great leaders and people.

They have even sacrificed their lives for the independence of India. We will be truly grateful to them forever. At the time of independence, the people of India made every possible effort to get rid of the British, the result of which we are free today.

People like Bhagat Singh, Ramprasad Bismillah, Mahatma Gandhi, Chandrashekhar Azad, and many more have dragged this country to the shores of freedom by laying down their lives.

Therefore, on this day, along with the joy of freedom, we also feel the sorrow of our martyred brave soldiers. If they weren’t there, we might not even be able to breathe on our own.

So, I bow to those people who freed us from cruel British rulers.

Thank you.
