Honda CB1000R Bike- The Honda CB1000R is slated to launch in India in April 2025, with a price range of ₹ 15,00,000 to ₹ 16,00,000. The Honda CB1000R is a litre-class naked street bike that replaces the previous CB1000R Hornet model offered in the country.
It features Honda’s new design language known as ‘Neo Sports Café’, which was first shown as a concept at. The motorcycle’s most notable feature is its look. It boasts a basic design, with a sculpted fuel tank, brushed aluminium radiator covers, and a front fender with a circular LED headlight.

The previous BS4 model of the motorcycle included several modern innovations, such as a quirky full-color TFT display for the instrument console. Other innovations included ride-by-wire, traction control, ABS, and four riding modes. Notably, all of these gadgets are likely to be kept in the forthcoming edition, with the possibility of adding more functions.
The hardware may also be the same, with Showa’s fully adjustable inverted forks for the front and monoshock unit for the rear. There are 310mm twin-disc brakes up front and a single 256mm disc in the rear. It also has a single-sided swingarm, which increases its style quotient.

Honda has teased the CB1000R in a short internet video. Though the changes are minor, the CB1000R does receive a few design adjustments for a better appearance. The unique horseshoe LED DRL has been redesigned to seem more streamlined. The Honda badge in the headlamp also looks to be smaller. The entire headlamp assembly has been raked to give it a sportier appearance. It even appears to include a flyscreen as standard.

Engine
The outgoing CB1000R is powered by a 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-pot motor rated at 143bhp and 104Nm, with a six-speed gearbox. The BS6 model will receive the same mill, but with some modifications for cleaner emissions, which may somewhat affect its power output.
Performance
The CB1000R is powered by a Euro 5/ BS6 compliant 998cc, inline four-cylinder engine that makes the same power and torque as before — 145.48PS at 10500rpm and 104Nm at 8250rpm. It retains its six-speed transmission. The Black Edition though benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter which comes in as standard.
Suspension
It uses the same set of hardware as before. Suspension is handled by Showa SFF-BP inverted forks and Showa BRFC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) monoshock, both fully adjustable. The bike is supported by twin 310mm front discs with radial callipers and a 256mm disc in the rear.
