Hero MotoCorp has finally launched the Splendor iSmart in India at Rs 47,250 (ex-showroom Delhi). The term i3s stands for Idle Stop-Start System. Hero MotoCorp developed this technology to improve the mileage of its bikes under the Indian Riding Conditions. The reason behind this is that the company was using the engines sourced from Honda in these three bikes and hence, the company wanted to end the royalty issue with its former partner. The three motorcycles are no longer visible on the company’s official website for India.

Hero MotoCorp warrants all its motorcycles for a period of 5 years or 70000 Km and scooters for a period of 5 years or 50000 Km, whichever is earlier, from the date of purchase.
