• Paper 1:This paper evaluates the candidate’s ability to teach and conduct research. It has 50 objective-type questions, each worth 2 points. This paper has a total of 100 marks. The questions are intended to measure the candidate’s general knowledge, reasoning skills, understanding, and divergent thinking. The exam lasts one hour, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
• Paper 2:This paper is based on the subject chosen by the candidate. It consists of 100 objective-type questions, each worth two marks, for a total of 200 points for this paper. The duration of this paper is 2 hours, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.

There is no negative marking in any paper, and candidates must achieve at least 40% aggregate marks (35% for reserved categories) to qualify for Assistant Professor status.
