About GOI SWANATH
The SWANATH Scholarship Scheme is being implemented by the AICTE to encourage and support students who are orphans, whose parents died from COVID-19, or whose parents were martyred in action (Shaheed). This is an effort to provide every such child with the opportunity to further their education and prepare for success in the future by enrolling in courses and institutions that have been approved by the AICTE.
Who is eligible to receive the AICTE SWANATH Scholarship?
The AICTE SWANATH Scholarship is an excellent opportunity for students who are pursuing a degree in the field of engineering. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria: you must be a resident of India, you must be a citizen of India, and you must be enrolled in an engineering programme at a university in India. If you meet these requirements, you are ready to apply!
- Candidates can be orphans, students whose parents died in the Covid-19 pandemic, Armed Forces wards, and Central
- Paramilitary Forces wards who were killed in action.
- The applicants’ annual family income cannot exceed Rs 8 lakhs.
- Understudies should not be getting monetary help through some other means.
- Candidates should be enrolled in degree- or diploma-level regular mode studies at AICTE-approved institutions.
Selection Process For AICTE SWANATH Scholarship
Candidates will only be chosen based on how well they did on the qualifying exam, which is worth 12 points for a degree program and 10 points for a diploma program.

How To Apply SWANATH Scholarship 2024 Online?
- First of all visit the official website of the NSP portal, https://scholarships.gov.in in your device browser.
- On the home page of the official website, click the New User Registration link. The registration guidelines should be read and comprehended by Degree, Diploma, and Technical Education students. You can click the Continue button after selecting the radio buttons.
- The student will receive an individual application ID and password via SMS on the register mobile number they provided after the new registration process is complete. On the home page, students pursuing degrees, diplomas, and technical education can now click the Login to Apply link. Your device will then display the Login for Fresh Application webpage.
- The student must click the login button on the login page to access NSP with the application ID and password they received during the registration process. Upon first logging in, the student is require to change their password. This password must be protect and kept secret. The understudy can change the versatile number just before the first login, for example prior to changing the got secret key.
- An applicant dashboard will open after you click the login button. To continue with the scholarship application, click the “Application Form” button right now.
- The application form web page will appear after you click the link. The Application Form is broken up into three sections: Registration Information, Academic Information, and Basic Information. The student should complete the application form completely and attach all required supporting documents. Click the “Final Submit” button at the end.
- Your application will be submit successfully when you click the submit button. Print and save the application form for later use.
