GOI Pre Matric Scholarship 2025- Every year, the State Christian Minorities Finance Corporation will send certain instructions and guidelines to all district educational officers from both states. TSCMFC/APCMFC has informed district officials about Pre-Matric Scholarships in this regard.

The dates for Pre-Matric Scholarships for all Minority Students, including Christian Minority Students, will be announced annually by the Indian government’s Ministry of Minority Affairs. These details will be sent to all DEOs, district MEOs, and schools.

It gives that a Pre-Matric scholarship scheme for meritorious students from minority communities would be implemented.

The government’s pre-matric scholarship to applicants of minority communities studying in classes 1 to 8 is being discontinued, and only those in Classes 9 and 10 will now be eligible for this scholarship by the Ministry of Minority Affairs from 2025. This is being done in accordance with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment’s pre-matric scholarship program.

About GOI Pre Matric Scholarship

Parents from minority groups will be encouraged to send their school-going children to school as a result of the pre-matric scholarship, which will reduce their financial responsibility and commitment to their kids’ schooling. Eligibility Criteria

Government of India Minority Pre Matric Scholarships:From Class I to Class X, students enrolled in government or recognized private schools will be eligible to receive a Pre-Matric Scholarship. Eligibility for the Minority Pre-Matric Scholarship: Students who have earned at least 50 percent on their previous final exam and whose parents’ or guardians’ annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs will be eligible to receive the scholarship. 1.00 lakh.

• The student’s parents or guardians do not earn more than Rs. 1,000,000 annually from all sources.
• For students in grades II through X, the previous final exam must be passed with a score of at least 50% or an equivalent grade.
• Female students will receive 30% of scholarships. Scholarships may be given to eligible male students if there are insufficient numbers of eligible female students.
• Eligible students include Andhra Pradesh residents who are also studying in other States.
• The winner of this scholarship will not be eligible for any other government benefits. a scholarship or a salary.

Distribution

Distribution of Minority Pre-Major Scholarships: According to Section 2 (c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act of 1992, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain, and Zoroastrians (Parsis) have been designated as minority communities. In addition to renewal scholarships, a total of thirty lakh scholarships are planned to be distributed as “Fresh” scholarships.

Scholarships will be distributed among the States and Union Territories in accordance with the population of minorities in those States and Union Territories as of the Census of 2001 for the years 2017-2018 and 2011 for the years 2018-19 and 2019-20 (see Appendices A and B).

Allotment of Scholarships

Earmarking for Minority Pre-Major Scholarships: The government’s goals will determine how scholarships are distribute of India’s notified minorities, which include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians (Paris).

• In the event that there are no female students from that community in the state or territory in question, a scholarship of thirty percent will be awarded to girls from each minority community in that state or territory. This scholarship can also be given to male students from that community. For female students who are eligible, the ceiling is 30 percent, not the floor.
• If the scholarship’s physical target for a particular minority community in a state or UT is not used, it will be distributed to that minority community in other states or UTs strictly on merit without affecting the community’s national ratio. Any unutilized local area portion will be convey among different networks in the future as per merit and without influencing generally public standard.
• No matter where a student is enroll, they will only be eligible for scholarships that fall within that state’s or territory’s quota.

Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure for Minority Pre Matric Scholarships: Fresh – It is necessary to establish preference for selection due to the fixed and limited number of Pre-Majority Scholarships available each year. The applicant is required to submit an Income Certificate in accordance with Paragraph 11(ii), so poverty will be given more weight than marks in the inter-se selection process. If both applicants have the same income, merit will be determin by the applicant’s “Date of Birth” (an older applicant is prefer).

Renewal – Renewal cases do not generate merit lists. The scholarship will be awarded to a renewal applicant who has pass the previous year’s exams with a score of at least 50% (at the same institute and in the same course) and whose application has been review and approve by all authorities (as designated by the Ministry of Minority Affairs).

Pre Matric Scholarship Fee

Rate of Minority Pre Matric Scholarship: Actual economic assistance will be provided for admission/tuition fee and maintenance allowance as given below subject to a maximum ceiling indicated against item concerned For ten months in an academic year.

Rate of Scholarship Admission + Tuition Fee

• Admission Fee for Class VI to X: Rs. 500/- per annum subject to actuals (both Hosteller & Day Scholar)
• Tuition Fee for Class VI to X: Rs. 350/- per month subject to actuals (both Hosteller & Day Scholar)

Maintenance Allowance

• For Class I to V: Rs. 100/- per month for Day Scholar
• For Class VI to X: Rs. 600/- per month for Hosteller AND Rs. 100/-per month for Day Scholar

Documents Required for Verification

Fresh Scholarship: The following is the list of documents that must be submit by an applicant for a Fresh Scholarship under any of the three Schemes in order for the Institute, School, or College to verify their online application:

• Student Photo.
• Income Certificate of Parent/Guardian issued by the Competent Department in the State/UT.
• A self certified Community Certificate from the student who has attain 18 years of age and for others the Community Certificate certify by parent/ guardian is require.
• Students for Scholarship under MCM based Scheme have to upload self-attested Mark Sheet, indicating that the stydebts has secured not less than 50percent marks in the last qualifying exam at higher secondary/ graduation level.
• Bank Account number of the Applicant along with the IFSC Code of the bank branch (for Pre Matric Scheme where students do not have their own bank account, parents can provide their own account details).
• Aadhaar number of the applicant and if Aadhaar is not available then copies of bank passbook and Aadhaar enrolment ID (if applied for Aadhaar).
