GATE Application Form 2024 – Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 Application Form has been extended till 16th October 2022 (with late fee). GATE Application Form 2024
GATE exam 2022 was take by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur at the national level in India. Every year, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam is administered by either IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee on a rotational basis. GATE full form is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
The GATE 2024 exam has 2 more new papers: Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture and Geomatics Engineering. Hence, there will be 29 papers for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 examination instead of 27 papers (old) available as options to get admission to IITs, NITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) in India.

About Gate
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program and Recruitment by some Public Sector Companies. GATE Examination is conducted jointly by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
GATE Admission Form 2024
On August 30, the GATE application form was available at IIT Kanpur. The online mode of the GATE exam 2024 registration portal was launched. To register for the GATE exam, candidates must follow the following steps:
- IIT Kanpur GATE 2024 –Candidates must register through the GATE online application processing system (GOAPS) using the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 registration link with all relevant details such as Candidate’s first, middle name, and surname, Valid email ID, Country of residence, Mobile number, Password. Candidates must enter the OTP received on their mobile number and registered Email ID after adding the details. The successfully registered candidates will be given a unique enrollment ID.
- Filling of GATE application form 2024 –Candidates must fill out the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 application form with personal information, academic information, communication information, paper appearing for, exam center information, picture ID proof, signature and category certificate (for reserved categories) once they have been registered.
- Uploading Required documents – According to the requirements, you must have scanned photographs, signatures, and other papers.
- Application fee payment – After that, in the online mode, candidates must pay the GATE application fee.

Eligibility Criteria of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024
IIT Kanpur have announced the eligibility criteria along with IIT Kanpur GATE information. Aspirants need to fulfil the GATE exam eligibility requirements in order to apply for the exam.
Nationality – Aspirants should be Indian citizens. However, aspirants from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are also eligible to apply.
Age – There is no age limit for appearing in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam 2024.
Academic Qualification – Aspirants should have completed or be in their pre-final/ final year of Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or Postgraduate (M.Sc) degree in any relevant subject.

- First of all, visit Official Website gate.iitk.ac.in
- Press on, “Login” Option.
- After that, press on “New User” Register Here, option given at last.
- Then register your complete name in the given format.
- Click on “Confirm” option.
- Fill the form by entering your working/ valid mail ID & mobile number.
- Enter personal, qualification, communicational, course option, etc. Verify and the submit the form.
- Now upload photograph, signature and other documents and category certificate (ST/ SC/ PWD) according to the format or specifications presented by authority.
