Farhan Akhtar Wiki- Farhan Akhtar is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, playwright, producer, and television host who is well-known. He primarily works in Bollywood filmmaking. He got his start in Bollywood by working as an assistant director on the films Himalay Putra (1997) and Lamhe (1991). On January 9, 1974, Farhan Akhtar was born in Mumbai to a Muslim family. Javed Akhtar, a well-known lyricist and screenwriter, is his father, and Honey Irani, an actress and screenwriter, is his mother. Zoya Akhtar, a well-known Indian director and screenwriter, is his older sister.  Shabana Azmi, a well-known Bollywood actress, is Farhan’s stepmother.  Farhan had a long-term relationship with Suman Ranganathan, an actress, that ended in 1995. He later tied the knot with Riya Jain, but their union did not last long.

Farhan and Adhuna Bhabani later got married in 2000 after living together for three years. Shakya and Akira, the couple’s two daughters, are born. He then appeared as an actor in the film The Fakir of Venice.  In 2010, Akhtar starred in and produced the psychological thriller Karthik Calling Karthik, which was directed by Vijay Lalwani. His next film, “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag,” was a biopic about Indian athlete Milkha Singh, also known as “the Flying Sikh.” Akhtar and Vidya Balan starred in the 2014 romantic comedy Shaadi Ke Side Effects, which was directed by Saket Chaudhary and produced by Pritish Nandy. Following Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), it was a sequel.

The following year, Farhan Akhtar had a supporting role in the ensemble comedy-drama Dil Dhadakne Do, which was directed by his sister Zoya Akhtar and starred Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, and Anushka Sharma. In the 2016 film Wazir, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Akhtar portrayed the Anti-Terrorist Squad officer in the lead role. Akhtar portrayed Maqsood, a mafia don who resembled Dawood Ibrahim, in the 2017 film Daddy, which also starred Arjun Rampal. The ensemble drama Lucknow Central, which also starred Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal, and Deepak Dobriyal, was his next release. His most recent film, “The Sky Is Pink,” received a 15-minute standing ovation from the audience at the Roy Thomson Hall during its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
