ई-श्रम योजना के तहत, असंगठित श्रमिकों को केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों द्वारा प्रदान किया जाने वाला लाभ मिलता है। श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार असंगठित क्षेत्रों के श्रमिकों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करती है। यूपी, बिहार की तरह एमपी के कार्यकर्ताओं को उनके बैंक खाते में हर महीने 1000 रुपये की सहायता मिलती है। यदि श्रमिक लाभ प्राप्त नहीं करते हैं, तो वे आधिकारिक वेबसाइट यानी www.eshram.gov.in पर ऑनलाइन स्थिति की जांच कर सकते हैं। लेकिन सुनिश्चित करें कि ई-श्रम कार्ड और सभी विवरण लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए मान्य हैं। फिर स्थिति की जाँच करने के बाद एक प्रिंटआउट लें और योजना का लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए पास के सरकारी अधिकारियों के पास जा सकते हैं।

इस योजना के तहत, इन असंगठित श्रमिकों को केंद्र सरकार से 12 अंकों का यूनिवर्सल अकाउंट नंबर (यूएएन) आवंटित किया जाएगा और वे इसका लाभ उठा सकते हैं। ये कार्यकर्ता इस पोर्टल पर आधार या बैंक खाता विवरण आदि के साथ अपना पंजीकरण करा सकते हैं और किसी भी प्रकार के प्रश्नों के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने सभी उत्तर प्राप्त करने के लिए एक टोल-फ्री नंबर 14434 जारी किया है और आसानी से पंजीकरण कर सकते हैं। अब तक, लगभग 22 करोड़ व्यक्तियों ने पूरे भारत में असंगठित श्रमिकों के राष्ट्रीय डेटाबेस (NDUW) / eSHRAM पोर्टल पर अपना पंजीकरण कराया है। वहीं, करीब 5 करोड़ लोग उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य से ही हैं। अब इन सभी श्रमिकों को उन योजनाओं का लाभ मिलता है जो उनके लिए विशेष रूप से शुरू की गई हैं। इसके बाद जिन लोगों ने अपना पंजीकरण कराया है उन्हें अब इस बार दो महीने की किश्त मिल रही है.
