About DTE Kerala
Directorate of Technical Educationis dealing with all the technical education activities in the state of India. Currently there are 12 Engineering Colleges (Nine Govt. Colleges and 3 Govt. aided Colleges), 51 Polytechnic Colleges (45 Govt. Polytechnics and 6 Govt. aided Polytechnics), three Fine Arts Colleges, 39 Technical High Schools, 17 Commercial Institutes and 42 Tailoring and Garment Making Centers functioning all over the state, under the control of the Directorate. In addition to this there are around 150 self economic Engineering Colleges both in the Govt. and private sector functioning in the state.

Eligibility Criteria For DTE Kerala LET 2024
- The students who are in their final year of a 3-year diploma engineering course may apply for DTE Kerala LET Admit Card 2024 course.
- The aspirant’s age should be 30 years at least
- Those who have qualified stream and allied sector in Engineering/Technology with the minimum of 45percent marks (42percent for SEBC and OEC category and 40percent for SC/ST category) from any state board of Technical Education or Institutions under Govt. of India may also apply.
- Those who have completed BSc in Mathematics with 45percent marks (42percent for SEBC and OEC category and 40percent for SC/ST category) from a recognized university may also apply for exam
- This test is meant for both Keralites and Non-Keralites. However, the admission of Non-Keralites to the Private Self-Economic Institution and Non-Government seats in the Government controlled Self- Financing Institutions is fully restricted
- Aspirants must be possessed with the diploma course in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 45percent marks (42percent for SEBC and OEC category and 40percent for SC/ST category) from any state board of Technical Education or Institutions under the Government of India.
