However, the new corrected date is December 14, 2025. To take the exam, candidates must bring their CTET Admit Card to their designated centre. They can obtain these call letters via the official website, ctet.nic.in, which will be available in November 2025.

The CTET December 2025 exam is set for two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Below is the complete schedule released by CBSE for the CTET examination:

• Paper I is for candidates who aspire to teach classes I to V (primary level).
• Paper II is for those wishing to teach classes VI to VIII (upper primary level).

• Environmental Studies (30 questions) tests knowledge of the environment, science, and social science, aimed at primary school students.

• Language II (30 questions) evaluates the candidate’s proficiency in another language.

Paper II Pattern (For Classes VI to VIII)

Paper II is for candidates aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII (upper primary level). It is more specialized compared to Paper I, with a focus on subject knowledge and teaching pedagogy for older students.

Duration: 2.5 hours

• Child Development and Pedagogy (30 questions) assesses understanding of child psychology and teaching methods at the upper primary level.
• Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies/Social Science (60 questions) candidates can opt for either Mathematics & Science or Social Studies/Social Science based on the subjects they wish to teach. This section tests the subject-specific knowledge required to teach at the upper primary level.
• Language I (30 questions) focuses on the proficiency of the candidate in the language of instruction.
• Language II (30 questions) evaluates proficiency in another language.

Both papers are designed to test the candidate’s knowledge, teaching aptitude, and ability to manage a classroom. Candidates will have to answer all the sections, and each correct answer will earn marks, while incorrect answers will lead to negative marking as per the established rules.

How to Download CTET Admit Card 2025?

Candidates can download their CTET December 2025 admit card from the official CTET website. Below are the steps to download the admit card:

1. Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the link that says “Download CTET Admit Card December 2025.”
3. You will be redirected to the login page.
4. Enter your application number and password (or your date of birth) in the required fields.
5. After logging in, your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
