Age Limit
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 27 as of February 15, 2025, in order to be considered for either position. For some categories, there are age relaxations, though. OBC candidates receive a three-year relaxation, while SC/ST candidates receive a five-year one. Different relaxations are available to persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD): 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST. Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are eligible to receive an extra 3-year relaxation by subtracting the length of their military service from their real age. A five-year age relaxation is also available to deserving athletes.
