Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Subedar / Sub Inspector (SI) / SI (Special Branch) / Platoon Commander: Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
• SI (Fingerprint) / SI (Document in Question): Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• SI (Computer) / SI (Cyber Crime): Bachelor’s in Computer Application (BCA), or BSc in Computer.

Age Limit:

• The individual’s age shouldn’t be below 21 and above 28 years as of January 01, 2025.
• The upper age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST.

Selection Process 

The following stages make up the selection process used by the Chattisgarh Police Department to hire Sub Inspectors and other personnel.

• Physical Measurement Test
• Preliminary Examination
• Main Examination
• Physical Efficiency Test
• Interview
