Eligibility Criteria

• Eligibility for the CBSE Udaan project is limited to female Indian residents residing in the country.
• This educational opportunity is only available to female students currently enrolled in the 11th grade at Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs), any government-run school recognized by a Board, or CBSE-affiliated private institutions in India, provided they meet certain criteria.
• Admission to the program is based on academic merit and alignment with the candidate’s selected city for weekly online sessions. The curriculum specifically targets 11th grade students studying Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
• Acceptance needs at least 70% aggregate marks in 10th grade, including at least 80% in science and math. For CGPA-based systems, a minimum CGPA of 8 and a GPA of 9 in Science and Math are required.  The program follows reservation norms similar to those of JEE (Advanced), with 27% of slots allocated to OBC (NCL), 15% to SC, 7.5% to ST, and 3% to PWD applicants in each category. Furthermore, eligibility is reliant on the applicant’s family income not exceeding six lakhs per year.
