Story Line

A US soldier sche a traumatic Mind injury while fighting in Afghanistan & fight to adjust to life back home. Apple Original movies will distribute  Jennifer Lawrence’s next movie, Causeway, The military drama & Action, produced in association with A24, will land in Cinemas & on Apple TV+ later this year. An exact announce date has not been set.

Lila Neugebauer, who currently Helmed Broadway’s revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s Act The Waverly Gallery to great acclaim, is Helmed “Causeway”  movie in her feature picture debut. The story follows a soldier come to blows to adjust to her life after come back home to New Orleans. “Atlanta” performer Brian Tyree Henry co-stars alongside Lawrence.Ottessa Moshfegh, Luke Goebel & Elizabeth Sanders wrote Causeway movie, which was picture in New Orleans.

Plot

Lynsey (Lawrence) is working as a US Army Corps of Engineers in Afghanistan when her motor vehicle hit an expensive, injuring her body & mind. Following an arduous comeback turn, Lynsey come back home to New Orleans, where she lives with her well meaning but neglectful mother (Linda Emond) & takes a job cleaning pools while she waits for her doctor to accept her petition to redeploy. Lynsey meets James (Brian Tyree Henry), a good natured mechanic with whom she forges a bond that shifts bit by bit from casual to something more complex. Like Lynsey, James is fight to recover from severe wounds, both physical & psychological.

Production

In April 2019, it was declared Jennifer Lawrence & Brian Tyree Henry had joined the cast of an untitled drama movie, with Lila Neugebauer Helmed from a display by Elizabeth Sanders. Lawrence, Justine Polsky,Eli Bush & Scott Rudin would serve as producers under their Excellent Cadaver & IAC Films posters, in proportion, while A24 would distribute. In April 2021, following statement of abuse, Scott Rudin was removed as a producer on the project. On December 30th 2021, the WGA awarded last display credit for the movie to both Sanders & the team of Ottessa Moshfegh & Luke Goebel.
