Objectives of WB Bangla Shasya Bima Yojana
- West Bengal Bangla Shashya Bima Yojana is a crop insurance scheme offered by the government.
- Insurance will be provided by the Agricultural Insurance Company of India
- Several districts of the state of West Bengal are covered under this scheme, such as Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Purba Bardhaman, Paschim Bardhaman, Purba Medinipur, Malda, Hooghly, Nadia, Murshidabad, Cooch Behar, Birbhum, Purulia, Dakshin Dinajpur, North 24 Parganas, and South 24 Parganas.
- The full premium amount in this scheme will be paid by the West Bengal State Government.
