AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2024

The AICTE Swanath Scholarship is an annual scholarship for students from India who are studying design and architecture. The scholarship is open to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course in architecture, interior design, town planning, or landscape architecture at a recognized Indian institution of higher education. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates excellence in the field of design and architecture.

All India Council for Technical Education comes up with an initiative to help applicants to complete their studies who are financially weak. Those applicants who are orphans or either both or one of the parents is died due to COVID19 spread or children of Shaheeds can grab the benefits. All those applicants who are pursuing degree/ diploma courses from scholarships.gov.in and courses can apply. To get the benefits you need not go out, you can apply for the programme by sitting at your home via the NSP portal. AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2024 Details

Objective of AICTE Swanath Scholarship

Many applicants are not able to pursue their higher studies due to economic crises. By beginning the Swanath Scholarship, AICTE desire to help such applicants. The main aim of the All India Council for Technical Education behind launching this scholarship is to give an opportunity to the applicants to study further and prepare for a successful future through education.

Benefits of AICTE Swanath Scholarship

• The students will get Rs. 50000/- per annum for a lump-sum payment for college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. No additional amount will be given in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc.
• Scholarship for degree applicants will be awarded for 4 years for degree students and 3 years for diploma applicants.
• If the applicant is currently studying in the 2nd/ 3rd/ 4th year at degree level, the duration of the scholarship will be reduced to 3/2/1 year.
• If the applicant is currently studying in 2nd/ 3rd year at diploma level, the duration of the scholarship will be reduced to 2/1 year.

Number of Scholarship

Under this scheme scholarships will be awarded to 2000 applicants out of which 1000 scholarships are for degree applicants and the other 1000 for diploma applicants.

Eligibility Criteria AICTE Swanath of Scholarship

• Student should be an orphan OR either or both parents died due to Covid-19 OR Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
• Family income of students, the family should not be more than Rs. 8 Lakh per annum.
• Student must have taken admission in degree or diploma course in AICTE Approved institutions
• He/She must not get any scholarship award from other sources.
• Student must have taken admission in a regular course.
• The scholarship reward will not be entitled to a correspondence course or distinct education or private course.

Selection Criteria of AICTE Swanath Scholarship

• Selection of the aspirants will be made on the basis of merit in the marks of the 12th standard exam for the degree course and the 10th standard exam for a diploma course.
• In case of a tie between the two aspirants, the elder age candidate will get a higher rank
• In case the age criteria do not work to break the tie then the yearly income of the family will consider breaking the ties. Lower yearly family income will be ranked higher.

• First of all, visit the official website of AICTE Seanath scholarship scholarships.gov.in
• From the home page of the portal, you have to go to the Latest Registration option.
• Click the link, and read the instructions carefully that display on the screen.
• Click the continue option and the application form will open on the screen.
• Enter the asked details of applicant in the application form like

  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Email id
  • Bank account number etc.
• Enter the captcha code and select the register option.
• Now login with the NSP portal and search for a scholarship programme.
